The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving the daily complimentary breakfast for the hotel guests.

1. Provide personalized service to all guests.

2. Be cordial to and exhibit respect for all team members.

3. Take inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day.

4. Assist in creating the orders for the food, beverages and supplies.

5. Stock coffee and juice machines.

6. Set out/arrange cold food, such as sweet rolls, muffins and cereal.

7. Restock self-service food and supplies as needed.

8. Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.

9. Remove trash.

10. Wash serving equipment and return it to storage.

11. Return reusable food supplies to storage.

12. Properly store food adhering to all health codes.

13. Rotate inventory, date food during the stocking process to ensure first in first out.

14. Learn and completely adhere to all brand standards.

15. Attend department/staff meetings and training as required/scheduled.

16. Maintain a good attendance and punctuality record.

17. Perform all other duties as directed by immediate supervisor.

18. Perform other department-related duties and/or assist in other departments as prescribed by manager.

· At least two years’ past experience in dealing directly with the public and providing excellent customer-service skills.

· High school-graduation-level mathematical aptitude and knowledge of standard exchange of currency.

· Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to read and write in English and communicate clearly with guests and fellow team members. The ability to speak a second language is an asset.

· Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions.

· Demonstrated organizational and detail-orientation skills.

· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including first and second shifts with availability all days of the week including holidays and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
